proper size for fuel lines

hi guys not new here but dont post to much and i need a little help. what would be a proper size fuel line to feed a twin bosch 044 from a surge tank and then from the pumps to the fuel rails.thanks

-8 is what you are looking for...i have a surge tank and tons of fittings i was going to use in my build but im selling everything off

opps sorry its not a surge tank what im going to use its a sump tank

A -8 to each pump will work. A -10 wouldn't hurt, but is probably a practical overkill. You'll want to mount the pumps low and as close to the cell as practical. Any pump will work best when it's "fed" with fuel and doesn't have to pull it up, against gravity, to it's inlet.

If you're running one pump to each rail, a -6 line for each pump will work. If you're merging the pumps into a single feed, I'd go -8.

yes the pumps are going to be merge. this is the plan so far from the sump tank a -8 line and 100 micron filter,from the filter a -8 Y merge the pump from the pump a -8 Y from the Y a 10 micron filter and from the filter a -8 to the fuel rail and a -6 to return.
