lol even if it did at 4000 dollars a set do you realize how long it would take to pay themselves off?

If you want a car that gets good mileage, don't buy a rotary.
These rotors are going to take the rotary to the next performance level. Can you imagine a set of these rotors in a 20b with the turbosmart billet center plate, or all billet plates? Yowza!!!!

So they aren't internally oil cooled like OEM rotors? Will that cause problems? I'm not trying to bash the product, just wondering about the importance of oil cooling.

They look great by the way, awesome power increases too!

I think the only reason somone will buy a product like this, is if they intend to make 1000+hp. I don't see the need for billet rotors in a street car. The stock rotors is more than capable of exceeding your needs on pump fuel, but if you have a methanol burning drag car, then I can see why you would be interested in something like this.

Exactly, why would you buy these rotors for a street car? I would say these are for full racing applications. These would really help the all motor rotary cars get over the honda hump.

well mabey the stock rotors limitations are not enough for me, both in compression and wieght..
and mabey it would be in an N/A application i have planned in the future, which would not need more than 93 octane.

hmmm........interesting.......

what are your HP goals for this NA motor you speak of, seeing the stock rotors can't work for you?
What would be the primary reason for this engine?? street or race?
What fuel?

it is my next project, probably not to be started till a year from now
its gunna be a 26b with variable velocity intake and a dry sump system.. and i hope to make as much or more as the lemans car... which made 930 hp at 10,500..

it would be made to race, but street legal with an interior. FD chassis

of course at this point this is only conceptual design..

hmmmmm

Is conceptual design another fancy word for "dream"??

The Leman's 4rotor made just over 700hp. BTW thats BHP and not WHP

Good luck

yes for track setup 700bhp at just over 8k rpm to keep it reliable, but on the engine dyno the engineers got over 900 when they took the revs up to over 10000 rpm on the 26b
