Hopefully my transmission holds together for one decent pass. I'm thinking that my trans will break easier since I'm running the 4 link/solid heim joint/8.8 sold axle combo too

My only weak link is the transmission and since my rear doesn't give AT ALL, that means the only thing to give is the you know what. ( I think )

Is there any reason that you run a solid heim end rather than a chro.mo. swivel type? The solids dont let the car work as well..esp. with a stick shift car... Just curious if you had a reason why?

Hey LUPE I've been with you since the beginning when you posted up about how to wire the relays for your coils. Everyone knew you were gonna shake and tremble to the outcome =). Props to you and I'm looking foward to that write-up (hopefully with pics!) on everything!!!

Hey guys I'm going to try the launch control via the Power FC PRO. Any one had any luck with this set-up?

The main difference is...

-two step rev limiter, aka launch control
-ign. cut type rev limiter

Ign. cut type is better because you're not cutting the fuel to limit the rpm which
could lead to bad knocking in the motor.

Regular Power FC rev limits with fuel cut. PRO limits with Ign. cut.

It's not in the Apex-i USA nor Japan website because it's done by AP-
Engineering.

it's like this... Toyota and TRD (TRD is race verison)

Apex-i and Ap-Engineering (AP-Engineering is the race verison of Apex-i, so
yes it's good stuff)

Hmmm, never heard of Ap engineering before... but with your comparisons I guess they are a reputable company?

Well I will test it and let you guys know. I am worried about breaking stuff off the line. But I know the Blitz FD3S car has done a 8.8sec with the standard configuartion rear end. Using a sequentail clutchless box though.

The launch control on the datalogit does both ign or fuel cut. Not sure what the difference is?

Ok now i got it together......here's a video of me at the track with my Mustang. This is what not to do when leaving the line on the 2step. Don't pop the clutch! I told myself that same thing about 20 times and got to the line and WAM! popped the clutch and broke the rearend. Listen to the snap and see if you can see the wheel hop around in the wheel well.

I'm using the 2step in the AEM in this video but have since started using the anti-lag. It doesn't do anything for me since i'm supercharged.....but it looks and sounds cool with all the pops and flames.

******* computer ****!!!! Aargh!! I can't get anything to work right anymore! If this plays for anyone please let me know before i toss my computer out the window!

Lupe, make the 2step write up for us. I know how to setup a 2step on a honda so i'm thinking its basically the same setup but you said something about cutting off the trailings during the 2step. I currently have 1 msd 6a, can I use the 6a or will I have to buy a 6AL? I've read and heard from a few different people that when the turbo is banging itself on and off it actually hurts the turbo and shortens the life of the turbo any input?

I still have yet to see anyone elses video to see if my 2 step is working correctly? I have copied this set up to the T and now I see why Lupe's knees were shaking! But I'm not positive my car is supposed to do this but it sure makes for good video!

Has anyone seen a video of Lupe's car anywhere?

I don't have any good videos of my old car on the 2 Step. Well, not good like yours

Mine wasn't as crazy as yours is.

All I have is a few pics of fire coming out the side
