We had a few 13b's in the US running mechanical injection... I believe both the rx3 & rx7 of Carlos Gonzales was mechanical injected

All of Carlos cars had mech. inj. except the rx8 he did not finish!

I ran it on the blower car but it was draw through and less complecated than the pressureized system.

we are used to this fuel system as its already in this car for the v8 and the blown3rotor before it.fortunatley the crew is long term and most of them have been around since the blown 3 rotor was in that car.anyway the index we are racing against is 8.9.so its very soft.we will be starting it up very shortley.just checked the fuel system last night and recorded the data of pressure readings everywhere.now we are confident that the fuel system is o.k.most people wouldnt want to tune it but paul has 35 years experience tuning aircraft engines with mechanical injection.he knows what hes doing.just waiting for magnitos to come back as one was incorrect rotation.then we can start it up.we got 3 test days at the track before we race.....
dyno tuning wont be done will be tuned at track by reading plugs and exhaust temps etc...we are confident it will be o.k.
