^Nah bro, it's an RB though lol (not that that's any better rofl)

Got the S5 sitting at home, plan to do a street port, rebuild and slap it in....

trying to do the suspension/braking first before i drop in the rotary..

I need some help/advice with the conversion i wanna do though....using a turboII rear suspension in the GSL-SE i have...the track is only about 0.7 inches wider from what i've seen but i have no idea how much work i'm getting into :/

^ sounds like a big project fitting that IRS in there.... You might have to cut out the floor pan and build a new rear cross member to mount that 2nd gen IRS... What is the main purpose for this car?? will it be a street driven car with drag racing in mind? If so, why so you want to go with a 2nd gen IRS?
IMO, i believe a ford 8.8 rear with 31 spline alxes & a decent posi (Eaton or auburn) will make a nice street/strip setup.. Have someone make you a new panhard bar, upgrade to a set of fully adjustable coilovers and you're set... I have a 8.8 and so do a few 1st gen guys on here.. gear ratios are widely available and those 8.8 housings are cheap... I know someone with a 9" in your neck of the woods, he wants $3000TT for it
