Joe Rapalo 5.44 @ 125 license pass

Joe and the crew went to Irwindale to complete his last pass for his license only to find out that all 5 other passes from Fontana were no good because they didn't fill out the information and sign properly. So today we made 5 passes and on the last pass Joe ran 5.44 @125 on low boost taking it easy. Car has a low 5 in it. Hopefully he will be able to make the Pomona 1/4 mile race with me and others. Good job Joe, congrats. Here's the video.

Eric, you need to swap rear ends. Those stock axles will not work on an all motor car with slicks. Been there done that.

but you can borrow the rear end off the car for 1 event and then you probably do a real good pass down the track.I think your son is not interested in racing....he should of been out there looking for axles to race.

A Turbo car is two to three times the cost to run vs an all motor. And your gearing in the trans and reared is going to be off. Eric you should just throw the 12 bolt in your sons car and race it at Pomona. Should be an easy swap.

That's BS Eric. You can ask everyone, I have offered to help anyone wether it be wrenching, etc. I know Albert has offered to help you tune etc and you declined. Rene, Albert, Mel, Joe and countless other rotary guys have helped me. The problem with a lot of people is that they have Too much pride and Think They can do it all on their own or they just don't do what others tell them to do, like put your 12 bolt in your sons car. We are just trying To help you get a car to Pomona so we can get all the rotary guys out there to represent. Who cares who's the fastest, let's just go out to have some fun.
