I just can't believe how far performance on these has come. Just sick that you can drive to the track, run a 9 on street radials. Its a **** ton of money (65k for alpha 10 kit plus labor) but damn! There was also a mercedes SLR that was running. Money cars were present. 5 gtrs, viper and the SLR , .. Must be nice!

 

Ahhh the GTR... the car which drives for you, aka as Autopilot.

The most boring drive... I hate those cars

Hahaha, same reasons why I missed all the summer events lol. Seems to be going around lately. Try to make the MIR event for 2012, I'm trying to get all the guys to come to that one event.

heck i just got my money pit ( FD )

then got another money pit (formula mazda)

and the money pit rx3 is still lacking me building a turbo manifold, i actually cut the fender to fit the turbo today

 

Did you decide on a turbo for the fd?

 

I do too....overpriced pig...I'd rather have a slow RX-7 than a fast GTR...anyday.

 

For the money get a FD, add a built 20b and big turbo, you should be able to get 600-700hp at low boost on pump gas and run 9's all day drive it to the track and drive it home make sure you fill up the tank dow lol. and if you want to have some extra fun raise the boost and make them look at your back lights.

 

Freaking stock i guess. just pull them clean, coat, and port. I dont think i should rush into a Big single just yet. they kicked the Corvette out of the FD's autox class soo i may just do that for a while.

 

SK8, your times say 10.2, havent you run 9's?

But even when I do get that slip I know it will be a high 9.8 9.9 slip. Far from the 9.44 posted by that gtr. Thinking I need to finally step up the power and have. Couple other ideas.

 

no no, i wasnt rubbing it in but for some reason i just thought you have, i know you got the power for a 9.8 and i am sure you can hit it, dont you have like 617whp? thats good enough for single digits, good luck though cant wait to see when you hit it
