g-force clutch less tranny in my fd
allright guys
down to reall tranny
am mounting a g101 4 speed with the fd bell housing and starter
the only problem is that the slave cylinder is in the way so I have to eliminate it from pul type
I was thinking of getting the turbo 2 clutch and install a hydraulic trow out bearing any body using one one
thats all I need
also any body knows about the rear diff like the torque arm granny speed shop sells
or any body using someting else to hold that diff in place when not using PPF

You just can't switch between those bellhousings. The FD was designed for a longer input shaft. Honestly most of the G-force trannies are set up for the TII or the RX-3/4 bellhousings.
Varify which bellhousing your tranny was set up for.

okay guys small update
tranny is in and running
am using the 93+ bell housing with starter and a hydraulic release bearing
I had to kind of modify my own PPF
thats about it
I also had to cut the tunel a bit for the shifter to work
I did some passes this weekend but no 9s yet
I cant seem too launch to get a good 60ft like 1.5 or 1.4s
also first time using the line lock, on one pass, i did not let it go on time
but the tranny shifts sweet
I cant wait to rent out the track or get more seat time
today i might check on my pinion angle and see if its all okay
also probally go to the dyno again and lower some boost, before the next time out

Thats the same tranny I ordered. Actually Ari ordered it for me with the turboII adapter plate. Mine will be clutch assisted though and h pattern. What gear ratios did you go with?
