As long as you keep the pickup away from another lead everything will be ok but I know you knew that allready!

I use to have problems when I used aftermarket coils and boosters. Always had to be careful how I placed the wires and dealing with misfires, rfi, etc.

Factory coils and factory wires is what lit up 45psi.

Uh OH we have some dyno competition going on now.
Great numbers, when do you plan on running the car at the track? Track numbers is what really matters.

I use a ACT with some mods done to the pressure plate. Also we have a progressive boost system that is easy on the driveline and gives everything a chance. When I owned the car, it went 10.0 @148 with 690rwhp (consistant), with all factory drivetrain. We will see what happens with the new power. We will be making up time after 60ft.

Congrats on the numbers, that's damn impressive. Are you using S5 plates or S6 plates (or is it only the S4 plates that i've heard of people cracking really badly?)

As soon as it clears up. This is our fun this time of year. Remember I live in Vancouver, Canada.

sounds good, but in drag racing it's all in 60ft_330ft you can have all the power u want, but it is what it is ....... it's sounds to me like a "honda" way of thought run it easy on the bottom and try and catch em on top, if you weigh in at 2400 and lower i can see it , but if ur like me (2792) good luck ...... i got a twin disk tilton that i "fixed" that i will try again, act didnt come close .............

I know that drag racing is all in 60ft. That is why you build a car to master 60ft. In this case you are dealing with a car with factory equipment in the ***. And my point is to go as fast as you can with factory driveline. This unfortunatley means taking it easy off the start. A factory gearbox is very fragile as we all know. You have to give it a chance! Multi disc clutches eat factory gearboxes. And hard launches eat axles+stubs. The car has done numerous passes and is still using the 2 year old ACT combo.

trust me, I know all bout that I too am runnin factory diff, but i am runnin the dss "bullet proof" axle setup, which is holdin 1.4 60ft all day long . can't say the same for the tranny tho I got (2) more trannys left before i go w/ the g force tranny, my goal is to beat the factory gear box record held by ari 9.27 , but it's alot harder than making "dyno numbers"

best of luck w/ ur ACT COMBO
