Yeah, a diet of wine spritzers and cooter definitely helps in weight loss.
Just stay away from vegemite scrolls and you'll be all good mate!

ohh man those vegemite scrolls with cheese were my vices , so was smashing down heaps off beers every damn night. i was a official alcoholic, and what annoys me is i quit drinking, and im not a quitter
Its been a diet of soda water mixed with fresh squeezed lemon and only protein shakes and gay vegetables,
Hair pies don't seem to be a problem not much calories in those *******

Got my wheel alignment today and new slicks fitted, the rear end was **** house, 6mm toe in on the left rear, and 8 mm toe out on the right rear, talk about crab spec, the front toe was 7mm total toe in too , also my maxed out camber rod is gay sec, its still 2 deg negative in the rear , gonna have to spend money on that or just slap that damn 9 incha in it that ive got lying in the shed

ok quick roughy guys , i run 20~23 psi boost , Vp roo16 gas ,motec cdi ignition motec computer , half bridgey donk.
I currently log between 8 deg timing and 7.5 at full noise , the higher the boost the less the timing , but averages 8 deg.
Now this weekend its the final race meet for me to bust a 9 sec time, and if i get greedy and decide to chase power with one or two more deg timing, will it be ok at that boost level so 10 deg max tapering to less if boost creeps up the efficiency scale on the motec .
Its going to be a 77 to 80F deg day too and my intake temps are roughly 60~75 degF higher , yeh i know its gay

Come on, you gotta stick with the IRS until you have the bitch beat! What about the individual rear wheel camber adjusters, they should be good for a couple more degrees? After all that weight loss you'd think it would have gained some camber at rest.

i lowered the car two inches, i got sic of it looking 4wd spec at 6 inches from the deck, the by product is shitty camber , i have my camber rod maxed out, i may just make up some links myself as those over priced purple ones from japan are asking drug money for a short bit of alloy,
As much as i love irs becuase of its fun drag/drifting, it ***** me to tears knowing i can go heaps heaps faster with a real rear end, i also know i need a box, i have been offered a loan G5R clutchless from my sponsor , but the season is about to finish so i missed the boat on that loan for now .
Time for me to go out to the driveway and hack it some more with the grinder , its looking at me all lardy like an ****

You only have 550hp, about to pull off a 9'sec pass...wish i could do that. your car is very light, but i guess its a "only drag" car..

yeh i have done 8 10.0 sec passes on 450 hp , the rest of my 27 runs were all in the mid tens somewhere as well , i believe you don't need much Hp to get the job done, all i need is a real gearbox and its going to improve shitloads, i got offered a clutchless gf5r to have untill needed back/loan deal but i have only 1 race left this season so its not worth thrashing to get it done .
Once i was inducted to our drag team Aero racing, the boss there was always on my case at why i had to have my car so pretty and loaded with "street stuff" as he called it, he told me if it doesn't make the car go forwards and isnt used in stopping it **** It Off ....... , hence my weight watchers approach to the car now
Ill keep yous posted

Acceleration Calculator
Horsepower (HP) 550 Weight (lbs) 2100 Shifts 3 Tire height (inch.) 26 Gear 4.10

Power to Weight Ratio: 3.8
E.T.: 9.55
Trap Speed: 150.34
Trap RPM: 7973

on 455 hp it shows

Power to Weight Ratio: 4.6
E.T.: 10.07
Trap Speed: 142.24
Trap RPM: 7543

so sounds about right to me. Damn I need to put the car on a diet too! Whats the lightest anyone has scene a FD?

Beefy, you get a clutchless behind that 1900lb 550rwhp car and you will be hitting those high 8's!

Just goes to show you the Australian power figures must be a lot closer to accurate than North American Dynojet figures. Good luck beefy!

I agree. So many wrong numbers claimed that see on forums. Usually the guy claiming a realistic number runs the better times. I never posted my last dyno numbers as I doubted them myself.

thanks heaps guys, i just got back from the track, no racing though as tonight was setup night, we get to go in the night before and set up all our **** and either camp out or go home, too cold tonight so i bailed home haha.

With the dyno figures ive seen around hear i first was confused about how high they were, but in the end its all relative, as most of you guys race with full interiors still, and all that weight not only slows you down it makes bashing gears harder as well, so now ive come to the realisation that all the 600hp plus cars are correct, for the weight an drivelines they are racing with

Its on like donkey kong tomorrow, im sooooo fuckn amped

SOME Australian Dynos produce accurate and repeatable wheel horsepower readings.

Plenty of locally produced toilet paper sheets too. 425rwhp sedans running 109mph down the quarter etc.

If you look at the theory behind Hales formula its actually based on real world test results from manufacturers engine dyno results.

Sorry to hear, that sucks. That's why I run all motor carburetor. I don't have to worry about any of that electrical crap.

it doesnt make sense, the load sense is map only, so the tps shouldn't make a pissa difference , and the two step i zeroed the boxes that were set up, and i cut the wire and turned it offf in the computer, but the limiter or two step was banging its *** off .
it was the gayest race day ive ever had, both the engine builder and tuner were there helping out to solve the issues and its just fucked .
Im the ten second queen .
Jay you wouldnt believe how many times i told them im gonna do blow through carb
