Gearbox is a clutchless 4 speed, jerico say it is only rated to 750 bhp.
Are the 5 speed boxes stronger?
Using a Mcleod clutch,with slippage.Need a stronger gearbox.

The flywheel is steel and i believe it's around 30lbs or so.
You have other options as well.. Allen your running a 7.25" tilton correct?
You can run there rally style clutch which offers a bit easier hit or you can get the carbon/carbon clutch which is probably the best way to go... Quarter Master also have some good 7.25" options and the bolt pattern is exactly the same as tilton's.

Ran this weekend and exploded the jerico gearbox on the 1st run.Input drive gear is in many pieces, that is 3 times now.It let go at 9000rpm in 2nd gear.

Also get a 5speed you'll be much happier..

Yeah, it's a Tilton 7.25. Maybe the only saving grace is that the trans i have is the torque tube version?

With a 1.2 a/r turbine housing.
The jerico is mounted on a rubber block on the rear, engine is solid mounted with a bar to stop it tilting back.Alignment is something we should check, but it appears the box just can't hold the power.

The 9.0 at 151 not sure but the previous best of 9.3 at 147 was at 1.5 bar measuring 589rwhp on dyno dynamics dyno.
The 9.0 at 151 was at 1.8 bar not dyno'd at this boost, but I estimate approx 650rwhp.

We made 589rwhp at 1.4 bar on the dyno, using an FD gearbox.Would have run more boost but it appears the injectors were at max,4 1000cc ones.
440ft/lb torque at the wheels.
When I get the dyno graph I'll post it up.
I have never experienced so much noise in a confined space, totally awesome, the ground was shaking!
Engine survived, and is as strong as ever.Think we have bent the crown wheel in the diff,it has tight spots in it.

Hi Tim,
The resone this may be happening is because on the track you have a lot more air going to the intercooler keeping the air coming out of the intercooler (intake)more dense but on the Dyno the intercooler may not be kept as cool there for the intake may not be as dense causing a pressure drop. I have also noticed that my EGT are about 50 degrees C hotter on the track than on the dyno.
