what upgrades will make me run 7's in 1/8th mile?
Im on a mission to run a high 7 in the 1/8th mile since there are no good 1/4 mile tracks around here except in LA (im in san diego). here's the story first I started with just an exhaust and some teins and ran a best 9.2 on some shitty 225 federalies tires(came with the car). I upgraded to a downpipe, midpipe, intake and apex power fc tuned for those bolt ons and ran a best 8.7 still on the same shitty tires. Now I have a smic and hks evc IV boost controller waiting to be installed and some slicks coming soon. well I want to know how much boost I can run without running out of fuel or basically blowing the motor? my frined told me not to go over 12psi with the boost controller because his fuel pump went out and now his car has been sitting for months with a blown motor. so can anybody help me out and give me a list of some upgrades I should do to still keep my motor running? also i there any way I can break the 7's barrier with these mods and slicks?

You'll need atleast 350rwhp to do the job and somewhere around high 200's to 300ft/lbs of torque.
7.999's in the 8th equates to about 12.20's to 12.50's in the 1/4.

Marcus...please don't increase the boost AT ALL w/o a fuel pump! it's not worth it man! Ohh yeah, and you might wanna get an upgraded PPF if you'll be running slicks. If not it'll go sooner or later, especially after you increase the boost once you get proper fuel delivery...Good luck bro
