what do you pro's think about that portwork?
Hi guys!
I hope you can help me out to decide if that engine is the way to go for me or not... any input is welcome!
relevant facts about the car:
91 r1, will be mainly used for track days
BNR Stage 3 turbos full sequential, controlled by AEZknights solenoid system
Haltech ps2000
water injection
sr motorsports intake box + m2 large smic
Koyo rad
The engine which is currently in the car is stock.
I now have the possibility to make a good deal on a used engine (1500miles on a T51r KAI) with a bridge port done to it.
What do you think about the port job regarding quality/driveability/IDLEbility?
Will this bridge port be overkill for BNR stage 3's?
I'm not that deep into the porting game, but I think this bridge is not a full bridge but a half bridge port, right?
Here are pictures from the engine work:
Thanks for your input!

that pretty much is a full bridge port. to much port for a stock turbo setup even bnr's. your going to have to go single to get exhaust manifold pressure under control. remember to much manifold pressure and you have a pretty unhappy engine.
