I weighed it with my heavy *** Work Meister wheels on it. My car weighed in at 2,350 lbs. I sat in the car and my race weight is 2595 which comes out to my exact body weight.


I knew it would be light but not that light. Sounds like I'll have fun at the track tommorow night

Your lightness is impressive. My rotary Corolla is only 200# lighter than you(2400# race weight). Post your "weight lost" mods.

 

now is that with a full tank of gas or empty...
my 1st time on track i had weighed my car w/ a full tank, and after qualifying they weighed everybody and i was under the allowed weight.... i had forgotten about the extra weight of fuel about forgot the counter wieghts...
DOH!!!!!!!!!!!

 

That was with a 1/4 tank of gas.

awesome, thats real light, now to just do some weight reduction mods on yourself, cut 20 or 30lbs
what bhp do you have? I know you have a lot, but itd be cool to see your outrageous power/weight ratio

 

That is very light!

My FD weighed in at 2,800lbs.

 

When I got my FB weighed - it was 1500lbs

But that was when it got weighed at the scrappy's, so it was basically the shell, tranny, and axles

I got £9 for it (£14 per ton)

 

any pointers for losing weight besides the obvious: heavy stock exhaust, smog pump, cruise control, sparcos etc.

any titanium or CF in your setup? inquiring reader want to know.

so the car weighs about 2700 with a full tank a gas? Not that big of a secrete, Im going to wiegh mine when I get the motor in. Also do you have full interior?

 

what did you run for times at the track?

 

I made it about half way to the track before my already damaged 3.73 gears locked up on me. Putting 4.30's in sunday so back to the track on tuesday.
