Vid of my half bridge

This was taken right after it started for the first time.
BDC is the builder.

Good idle for a bridge! What's the idle speed? Fairly low? Like 1200?

It is at about 1200 now. When I filmed that, it was around 1500.

Here it is with 200 miles on it! Starting to smooth out a little. This is @ 1200 RPM.

BDC told me 500 miles. I have heard conflicting things on how long you should break in a engine.
Mazdaspeed says 300 miles with new bearings. 200 miles with used bearings.
Some people say 1500 miles. Some people say 2000 miles!
I think I will go with what the builder of the engine told me. I already have over 400 miles on it! I accidently boosted to 1.2 bar because my wastegate lines were switched when I assembled it. Didn't hurt it any.
Runs pretty strong!

Here it is boosting to 1 bar.
I am going to leave it there until I get another 500 miles on it and then gradually increase it to 20 PSI.

It's OK on the streets. When you feather the throttle it kinda bucks a little.
I think I am around 400 RWHP @ 15 PSI. You really notice the power increase at the top of 3rd. It actually scares me! I will take it to the dyno as soon as I get it tuned on the road with my wideband.
I love the sound of it when you are parked at a light! It tends to get a lot of attention.
After I have a few more miles on it, I am going to increase boost to 20-23 PSI. Then the fun will begin!

It pulls hard as long as you keep your foot in to it. I am shifting at 8k.
Low end suffers a bit until the turbo spools.
From 6k to 8k, it is like a rocket.
July 10th. will be it's first time at the track with this engine. Hoping for 11's. Previous best was 12.8 on a stock engine and a hybrid turbo.

The map needs to be street tuned some, Bruce. I can get rid of that light throttle stumble for you unless you're talking about how it bucks at lower RPM's.

Can't wait to hear about the numbers at the track!!

BDC or RXTASY1,

What AFR do you tune a half bridge for on pump fuel? Also curious what timing changes are needed compared to a street port.

Right now, I'm running way rich just for safety sake.
I also have h20 injection.
11:1 would be a good place to be. Right now I'm running 10.5:1.
My timing was set by the conventional method.
