Question Street port HP w/ mods...

I'm in the process of installing a street ported reman. from Atkins Rotary along with a stage 1 turbo upgrade from BNR supercars. I'm trying to find out what will be a safe boost level for 1/4 miles and what would be a ball park figure for HP. My other mods are in the sig.

your boost level depends on your tuning...and fuel capabilities...if you have enuff fuel and enough flow you can run high boost right....just gotta watch yer temps..yer fuel...and play it smart.

yer gonna need an ecu if you want to tune it for more boost though...dont go pushing the boost without tuning alright?

you should get a 25hp increase or so with the streetport...yer gonna lose some down low but up top will pull and pull instead of trailing off.

rotary reliability and racing rebuilt my motor and did the streetport and it started right up. if you put all the parts together right and dont have anything stupid like a bad wiring harness etc..then you shouldnt have any problems.

Thanks artguy, I'm just trying to find out what are the odds of having a no problem clean start when I get this done. I've been taking my time with this...the only place I might screw up is in the vacuum lines..I've taken some pics and vids..but when you see that nest of hoses it seems impossible to get them all right. I'm running 720's in the secondaries an FD fuel pump and an S-AFC to control all of this, so I'm hoping that can make it possible to run some high boost....the only things holding me back are the stock ECU and intercooler...what would be the highest boost capable(safely)with these stock items?

With the stock ecu you cannot run more then 9 pounds of boost. But you have said that you changed your turbo so the ecu my totally mail funtion with the new turbo and you could take a motor out so watch out

Yeah, stock ecu and s-afc are not going to be the best way to go about it. you'd better stay with 10psi.
