Question s5 turbo & manifold on s4 engine?

i have a jdm s4 turboII motor. i was wondering would a s5 turbo and manifold make a decent increase in power?

also later i am looking to upgrade to a bigger turbo what would you recommend?
i want something that spools rather quick (want boost right right away)
hopeing for 250-300hp (or more) to the wheels for daily driving.

sorry if someone already posted a similar thread i'm a newB :smiley_12

Yes, you will notice an increase in power with the S5 turbo and manifold. Great upgrade for the money. All of the s4 plumbing will work as well.

Make sure you port out the wastegate hole before installation. Otherwise, boost creep wil be an issue.

s5 turbo is absolutely not a great upgrade for an s4 turbo. its a good upgrade if you have to get a stock turbo replacemtn and can easily find the s5 parts instead of s4. it can be berely called an upgrade.

if you want 250whp or more you will need a bigger turbo upgrade. you can do one of those bnr stage upgrades. stage 1 which is just a bigger wheel upgrade can make 276whp+. that will bolt right up, ofcourse you will need to adress the proper fuel needs teh engine is now gonna require because of the added power.
if you want something that will spool faster you will need a relatively small turbine, a tubular exhaust manifold and a ported motor, can all help. it all depends how much money you want to spend.

stage1 upgrade dyno

you need both teh turbo and the manifold to put the the s5 stuff on the s4.
he s5 boost more from factory then does s4 and s5 also has higher compression rotors. that is where the power comes from, not really the turbo. they will make about same peak hp numbers

so dont get a s5 turbo and manifold? just send your turbo out a bnr stg1 kit (for an S4) and get an upgraded manifold for a stock turbo? and that will spool fast and get me 250whp?
i was also going to get a fmic
Q: what are the stock injector size and what should i upgrade to for the kit?

no dont get upgraded, manifold with bnr upgrade, if you are gonna get a manifold might as well go with a full t04 turbine such as a to4b9 or to4e. an intercooler upgrade is pretty much a must after 250whp, or if you track the car. stock injecotrs are 550x4 u will want 950s or so for secondaries, the primary ones should be ok. and get something like an afc to control them with, otherwise go with a standalone. and dotn forget to get a fuel pump also
