rx7 vs. supra
rx7 vs. supra
ok well where i live the word on the streets is the supra is king but i think that is really not true i know theres been threads for a long time talkin about rx7 vs. supras but hell lets do it again, anyways every time i hear about it, its always dissin rotarys on how they will always break down well its tru but the reason is its not the car its the driver reallys i think if well maintained, rx7's will last well into 100k miles and thats true but the only reason supras last long really think about it the people drivin them are rich and the parts are way more pricey then rx7, but a RX-7 (somewhere in the range of 2,800 to 3,000 lbs.) with 500 hp has the same hp to weight ratio as a 700-hp Supra (roughly 3,550 lbs.). so whats up with that whos better?my answer will always be rx7 but i want to hear your opinion so i can have more info to shut these supra kids down dont hate me for saying this but where i live the people that own supras really act like ricers what i mean is the cockyness

They are both great cars in my opinion and you can't go wrong with either. I can say this from experience because I own both currently. I think these are two of the finest Japanese cars ever built. I am not cocky or a ricer either.

Wow, punctuations please. However I do agreed with ShellDawg, both cars are unique in their own way and both car are one of the finest of all Japanese cars =].
not to be a dick, but how is this relevant to the rotary performance section??
also, you need to use more than just a comma every 5 sentences. im no stickler for perfect written form on the internet (obviously) but believe it or not, its quite difficult to read posts without proper punctuation. periods, question marks, exlamation points, colons and semi-colons all play intergral parts in our written language, so please use them!
on another note, arent these sorts of threads banned since all they do is take up bandwidth as these are matters of opinion that wont likely be settled?
but since your asking: the rx7 kills the supra all day. my cousin has had 4 supras and is big into the 'supra scene' if you will. lots of my friends as a consequence are supra guys. i have driven in everything from stock mkii supras to a 600whp mkiv. doesnt matter, IMHO i would take an rx7 of any generation over its supra counterpart in almost every category; styling, handling, as a track car, as a street car, etc. the only thing that i have ever found that i like on supras more than its corresponding rx7 feature are the damn seats in a fully loaded mkiii. they are heavy as **** (electric adjustments like 5 ways!) but dammit theyre comfy! my fc seats arent....

The MKIV Supra is a higher quality, better built car, whereas the FD gives a better driving experience IMO. As far as which performs better, that is also subjective and depends on what aspects of performance you put the most weight to.
Yea sorry about the writing didnt think about it. But didnt mean to offend any supra owners, like i said in my county they act like that cause they are rich boys. And yes it is a rotary performance section cause we are talking about how rx7 performance is better then the supra. Here is a video i thought would show the rotary is better not really but it is a kickass video and the rx7 is only pushing 10lbs of boost and supra is stock which is kinda of even here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_YXNR6ZkS4 .
i was about to cry.
