Has anyone done business with rotary performance (www.rx7.com) I was thinking about doing business with them and wanted to see how they've been treating people. Thanks.

I haven't personally, but from what I hear they are a great shop. One of the most popular rotary tuning shops in the states. Lots of satisfied customers and such, I know there are a bunch on the board.

I have done a couple transactions with them locally, their shop is only a few minutes from me. Don't hesitate to order from them.

Garfinkle has been getting parts from them for several years for all 3 generations. Never a problem. HE said the information from Ari is worth more then any one can count. Ari has allways taken the time to give Gar any tech info needed. If they say they have ,it comes quickly. never a worry.

You can fairly label me as biased since I live in the area, but the group at RP ia a great one. Their experience alone is worth talking to them and most often it is freely given.

I've done many a transaction with them, they're very friendly, quick, and have great quality products. Some are more expensive, but it's easily worth it. I'd rather pay a little more to someone I like than save a few bucks and get it from an *******.

They may be good at fullfilling orders and awesome if you are local. But, my experience with their post sales strategy has left plenty to be desired. The sell Haltech equpiment, and are suppose to support it after the sale... I have been trying to get a software update from them for several weeks to no avail... but, its not anything that would prevent me from doing business with them again... the thing that would prevent that is that I have found a very personal, and in my eyes, much better shop to deal with... plus, RPs prices aren't too hot. I'd rather order from Jason... he can get just about anything they have... and usually at a better price, if not the same on some things.

They are great guys over there. All the hard core RXer's are friends with them (Steve Can, Ken Scheepers, Anthony Bulger, etc, etc, etc) When they have Dyno-Day at the shop the whole parking lot is filled with all gens of Rex's everywhere. Just thinking about it makes my eyes get misty I have not met a local person (and I know a shitload of rexers) that had anything bad to say about them.

That is saying alot because you just can't make everyone happy and I am sure eventually I will talk to someone like Kurgan, it just hasn't happened yet.

i've bought from Jason to save a few bucks, but when it comes to support for the item purchased it wasn't there. RP on the other hand has answered every question and then some. ALL for free. So like it's been said before, yeah it's a little more expensive, but you pay for what you get.

So far I have been pleased as well. Chris spent 15+ min with me about my upgrade plan. I also inquired about getting some new plug wires (ngk stock) and they went and checked and said they were out, but would have some tomorrow. Went to their store the next day and picked them up.

Beware, if you go on your lunch hour - they are closed from 12-1pm for lunch as well.

I do tend to agree that their prices could come off a bit, to make them my one stop shop and eliminate buying from cross-county web shops.

I've placed a couple of orders with them and they've been the best I've delt with so far...never a problem. I never needed and after sales service so I can't comment on that.

You guys are lucky to have a good parts place like that nearby. I wish we had more stuff like that in Canada! I have a place that does good work, but I order 95% of my parts from the US

I've gotten to know those guys pretty well. They have always had fantastic service after the sale and have gone out of their way to help me before.

I purchased my chromoly axles from them and I loved the service. I was talking to Ari for about an hour on the phone and he gave me some tips too. Also, I met Ari at E-Town in NJ and we were talking for a pretty long time while he was competing in a race that day. I highly recommend doing business with this company. Actually, I'm going to call them up right now to buy more mods.

I hear people complain about them being higher than some other places. A lot of the people selling parts do not have the overhead these guys have. Some are not having to meet payrolls and pay for commercial phone and utility costs which are a lot more than residential.
Sometimes what you don't see makes a lot of difference. The fact that they have such a good reputation means a whole lot to me.

I'm not disagreeing. I just think that it makes business for them more difficult when folks are selling things frequently for 50% off of their prices. If they still want to support the install & tuning on those parts it is good for all.

I would like to add that I support all the products that I sell. I have installed 90% of them and run most of them on my car. Im not as familiar with the 2nd Gen as the 3rd but can answer almost any question on products.

My opinion the best support is on this forum and not through most vendors.

They are about to receive a number of the guru racing products from Australia for testing, these include the gearset, mx5 diffs, floating hubs kits and a bell housing (SFI approved) scatter jacket and a pedal box.

SOMETIMES they are higher, I just ordered parts from Rocky there and they were cheaper (not much but cheaper) than 2 other good shops.
