Rebuild a few question?

At about 62500 miles My main cat clogged and blew some seals.

Here the basics that I want done.

1. Rebuild (3mm apex seals w/ dual springs,
hi-performance silicon O rings ..ect)
2. (a) Street port
(b) Bore throttle body, intake manifold and exhuast
3. Extra dowel pinning
4. New fuel injectors (secondary being 1300? 1600?)
5. new fuel rail, pump
6. High torque starter
7. New alternator
8. I am running all nines plugs w/ less 3g miles,
should i change them?

Just enough to do it right so it could take some abuse. I am trying to make an endurance motor for street/track i guess, but not interested in makeing 500+hp....495hp is good

Anything else i can do while motor is out? Things I could change, making it just like a new motor.

The RE crate motor, is it worth considering? Price?

stick with 2mm seals unless they won't work anymore

why are you dowel pinning, do you plan on running a huge turbo at high psi?

same point as above with all the fuel-related mods.

What mods do you have now? What ecu do you have now?

Why don't you give Rotary Performance (www.rx7.com, Garland, TX) a call and talk to them about your goals. They are one of the best shops in the country.

3mm because i am not a wiz at tuning so, it gives more room for error.

Now as far as the dowel, I really don't plan to go high, but like to know i could if i wanted to. (is not set in stone)

These were things i was thinking about doing while the motor is out.

Thanks for you help.

you are going to have to have a stand-alone ecu to run larger injectors properly. What mods do you currently have?
