Question porting...

I've seen you guys talk a lot about porting, I know what porting is, but what is the difference between them. I mean you have bridge port, peripheral port,... Could someone explain? And what is the effect on the engine when it comes to the engine's powerband?

PORTING 85 6 port

Does any body have templets for the 6 port? My car roles away on even small grades but runs like hell. I`m planing rebuilding it so why not open it up a bit.
