new 13b world record!!!

a big congrats to Gaby and the crew from sporty motorsports in PR

they ran a 7.44@178mph today in PR

this makes them the faster 13b in the world!!!

the car weighs 1970lbs which is 70lbs over the weight limit
the car still runs on gasoline not methenol as well!
the cars runs a Microtech LTX12s ecu

the car has run a handfull of 7.5's this week proving they have a reliable package!


well done guys,

also big congrats to Jon from RX engineering here in Australia who has had a big hand in this car,

I take gasonline as pump gas, most people call race gas, race gas , in this neck of the woods anyway, regardless that still doesn't answer my question....Max

race GASOLINE then....


i dont know exactly how much boost they are putting in it, it will be a decient amount

dont have any engine pics but the car was running 33psi boost and uses a stock cosmo 13b inlet manafold!!

I attended that event....covering for rxtuner mag.
That was a very impressive pass.... too bad he later had engine problems.... we didnt see him the next day at the Panamerican Nationals.

Quiles Turbo in P.R. has built a new FD race car. If it runs anything like his Starlet, watch out. He should be another top contender.
