Sorry i can't compare it to anything, my car came with it. louder than w/stock cat, noticeable improvement, still passed emissions. everything you'd expect.

I put one on my FD about 2 years ago. It was great compared to the stock cat. I had a lot more power and the car had a lot better response. I had it on my car for about 4 months and then went to a straight pipe. I could not tell the difference between the two. Just as loud and had the same feeling of power.

I have no comparision to the Bonez one, but I was VERY satisfied with the N-ech one. Not sure on how it does for emissions with an airpump, but I was not worried about that at the time.

Here's some pics and stuff:

It flows much better than the stock cat and is much louder, but I doubt it cleans as well if you are borderline on emissions already. It is way lighter, too, at 12 lbs versus 30 lbs for the stock main cat. The element in mine looked perfect when I took it off after 10-15K miles (switched to midpipe, but I might switch back -- it's stinky).

IMO, the N-Tech is the best high-flow cat out there. supposedly, is flows 96% as well as a midpipe.

Damn, I was kind of hoping it didn't flow that well :-). I recently bought a midpipe for my car but couldn't stand the noise, smell, and the boost creep. So I ordered an N-tech cat and am awaiting it's arrival. I'm hoping it will add some restriction, so I can set my boost back down to 10psi (I can't run less than 13psi with straight pipes). Is it really as loud as a straight midpipe???

Does anyone here have the Bonez or is N-Tech the better cat. What is the weight and flow difference between the two? Also how long are each projected to last??

I just had a Bonez (from Rotary Performance, $520) installed on my R1 in place of a midpipe. My rex is up at KD Rotary in PA (I'm in GA) so I haven't had a chance to try it out. I'm hoping it flows as well as the N-tech...I don't mind the noise (and power ), I just wanted to keep boost creep in check and give a little backpressure.

Does anyone have any feedback on the Bonez? From looking at RP's site, it's a very high quality unit, and I Chris at RP said they are designed to last a long time. I also have a buddy who has been running one for ~5 years and 70k miles with no problems. I'm just hoping I made the right choice; I wasn't aware of the N-tech at the time of purchase.
