Photos of porting 13B-RE

My friend and me made my first street port on 13B-re cosmo engine. The patterns I bought on mazdatrix was found unfit for 13B-RE. We made own templates.

Primary ports +35-40%
Secondaries +20%
I plan 430-530 hp on T61 BB turbo (15-22 psi).

How unfit are those mazdatrix templates? I am currently looking for some for my 13b cosmo. I might just have to send my housing off to get ported. I am looking for a decend street port. I might run a gt40r on it.

You can try 13BTT templates. One for primaries, one for secondaries.

You might want to consider nocking the shine off that housing.

I would worry that the apex seal may hang up on the top of that squared off intake port.

the intake is the smaller port, you are looking at the housing from what would be the front of the motor.
