Question Oil rings

Which oil control O ring is better between the original MAZDA and th Atkins?. I know that the Mazda is silicone coated with viton and the Atkins is pure viton , but which would really be better for use on my motor?.

If I'm not mistaken viton is more heat resistant so my guess would be the atkins is better.

I understand that the inner O ring is much higher spec than the outer (a friend had a factory set analysed). In fact the outer was nothing special - he found a local after market supply for a much cheaper price, with the same qualities/heat resistance etc etc (just a different colour). Going to be tried in the next race motor re-build...

Viton is good stuff. I made my own water seals using viton cord.
