GSL-SE w/ exhaust

Hey all! I just picked up an 85 GSL-SE. I am curious as to the issue of using the stock fuel injection unit with a full exhaust system. Will this setup work poor, fair or excellent. Also, how will this setup compare to using carbs with the exaust? As you may know, I don't have much tuning knowledge....if any body can give me advice and wisdom regarding this setup, it would be much helpful.

i'm really not sure as to what you're asking.... but if you're asking if the car would see some sort of horsepower gains from an aftermarket exhaust then the answer is yes.

I asked the same thing when I picked up my GSL-SE a while back. Everyone I have spoken with, including a guy at Racing Beat, has said that the stock computer will compensate for the added airflow all by itself; totally opposite of what I was used to with the FD. :]

I plan to put on a straight-through exhuast with a Borla muffler on the end.

because of the afm it will compensate to a point, until the afm is maxxed out. my afm is wide open at 4500rpm....
