I only got in one pass before getting kicked out. I bounced off the rev limiter between 2-3-4 gear. Then, when boost finally came on in 4th, the car shot off to the right into the sand and ****........ I then let off the gas, straightned myself out and then hit the gas again.......

It should have been a better pass........

Haltech, street port, methonal fuel, 25psi of boost, T88 turbo, G-force tranny.



60 foot 1.15s

mph 165mph

Not bad, I didn't even know you could tune alcohol? Sweet! We'll be running a turbo closer to that size soon as winter hits, I just have to remake the cage to fit it first. Be a closer comparison then except for maybe weight.

Would almost mean something if it was built for drag. No worries though it will still put out more power, and spool quicker too, stop better, turn better, etc. So..........

Nice 10.70's in your purpose built drag car, that you can't take to the track

Sounds like you need to worry about racing your own car.

I can play that game, though.

I've also got a little mustang that we've been putting together that will run you and anyone else down on this forum.

What part of MY CAR IS NOT A DRAG CAR do you not get? Drag racing is boring. Right up there with NASCAR. Besides customers come first. I have nothing to prove. Any car of mine that I build to race will be for circuit racing. Building a fast car to go straight is easy. And just because you touch someone else's project doesn't make you the builder/designer of said project. I'm not out to build drag cars you can have all the fun you want doing that. The S13 in question is all me. Designed built and fabbed everything. Guess what? Not a purpose built drag car! If it does what I want great, if not, lesson learned. What's more important is the customer likes the product that was made for him. Not will it do 8sec or better. Jesus! If I laid claim to what my friends were doing I could attach myself to 6sec cars.

nice. I'm trapping a little more in the 1/8.... I hope I can pull that kind of 1/4 mile trap before I turn up the boost.
