Hmm, that body kit looks very functional for maximum "Rotary Performance".

OK, we are back on subject now for this subforum.

I second that! I didn't really like the car until Marcus put these pics up.

Marcus....maybe Mazda should give you some kinda kickback. I think you might've just sold a few of these for them

www.rx8forum.com , it is funny cuz most of the people on the board dont even know what a rotary motor looks like! or even know the generations of the rx are. the only thing about buying this car is that supposedly Mazda is going to release the RX7 in 2005!! i would hate to buy the 8 and then have to trade it in on a 7!! i wonder how much the Mazdaspeed kit will cost? this car looks good, throw on a 100 shot, header and some other mods and i bet you could get over 340 to the wheels, that would be fun enough for a cruiser! after i saw these pics my thoughts changed drastically!

That is great. Let's hope that new "meat" comes onto the rotary scene. That is going to help make the sales of this car successful thereby giving the greenlight to production on the RX7 again.
So you could have an RX8 as a "family" car and a 4th Gen (damn that sounds great don't it?) as YOUR car!
HEHEHE!!! Damn I'm gonna **** around and **** my pants if I don't quit looking at that potential "family car"!!!!

i have been thinking about it ALOT since i have seen these pics. the main thing is the kit, it is a shame that the car looks like **** without the kit but i guess i will just have to buy a kit with the car!!!!

But the cool thing about that is that you can give the car a character of it's own and not look "ricey"

I "heard" that the they're supposed to have a Mazdaspeed RX8 edition just like they have the Mazdaspeed Protege. I also "heard" that they Mazdaspeed edition RX8 will be turbo'd and have 300hp. If the regular rx8 is high 20's - low 30's then I bet the Mazdaspeed edition will be about mid 30's+.

I too want one as a family mobile.

Turbo. . .No it wont be turbo. For some reason with the RENESIS after exhuast gasses pass through the side ports and a turbo they are Too Low a temp for cats to work properly. soo a turbo is a no go. BUT a supercharger isn't out of the question. I dont feel like searching right now for the pic but if you take off the engine cover, the alternator and belt are right there and there is a semi-open space where a supercharger may be placed.

Ok I got bored and went looking for a pic with the engine cover off. Oh yea and BTW turbostreetfighter why did you say that the people at RX-8 forum dont know what a rotor looks like man do I have a couple choice words for you. You know nothing, obviously you either cant read very well or you dont know what a rotor is. You really should read some of bugers posts hes got some connections with mazda I think

Anyway! here it is. From the RX-8 forum.

You don't know who he is, do you? Marcus may talk a lot of smack, but he's one of the few on here that can back it up hehe.
