1) The Mazdaspeed RX-8 will NOT have a turbocharger or a supercharger... it will probably have just simple bolt on mods like intake and exhaust, something to boost the power to about 280.
2) Marcus it the man.
3) I'm sure he was exagerating saying they don't know what a rotor looks like. He was probably just pointing out that compared to the RX-7 forum, they don't know near as much about the engines... this is understandable though of course.
4) I like chilli fries.

I've heard all the denials (from Mazda) about the RX8 not having a turbo/supercharger. I've followed the car from the beginning, read all the articles and follwed most of the threads on the RX8forum. Frankly.....I don't believe Mazda when they say no turbo/supercharger. I'm not saying it's a definate thing but I bet in a couple/few years...assuming the RX8 sells well....we'll see some sort of forced induction RX8. Just my opinion.

<shortbusriot> Ok I got bored and went looking for a pic with the engine cover off. Oh yea and BTW turbostreetfighter why did you say that the people at RX-8 forum dont know what a rotor looks like man do I have a couple choice words for you. You know nothing, obviously you either cant read very well or you dont know what a rotor is. You really should read some of bugers posts hes got some connections with mazda I think

yo shortbus!!! slow your roll partner!! you obviously dont know who i am or you would not have said something as dumb as that remark!!Bridgported explained why i said that and i still mean it. the post that i read were arguing about the names of the different year models of RX's. they do not know as much as the people on the board...except for you maybe.
