lumpy idle on NA street port.. fixes?
91' NA auto, mazdatrix street port, ported ( port matched I guess would be a better term) intake manifolds the best i can do with my idle at the moment is a lumpy 850 - 450 rpm idle, the idel adjust is loosened one tern less then ready to pop out.. no vac leaks and no fuel leaks. I have a super AFR that I have yet to set up a base line on simply becuse I don't know how the computer will react to such a crap *** idle.. fuel pressur is regulated at 41 psi at the moment..
any thoughts would be welcome , as I have an e test tomorrow at 1pm and I don't think my lumpy idle will pass the test..

found a small vac leak @ 5 min after I posted.. however I can't set my S-AFR with the engine being so damn lumpy.. and this 100 degree heatwave isin't helping the situation either, hot and damp.. great.. oh well looks like it's off to e test now..

how big is your streetport. if it's just physically too big there's not much you can do, cause you get a lot of overlap and low port velocity. there's nothing you can really do about overlap, but you can set your idle higher to get more velocity throught the ports.
retard the timing to what the stock T2 runs at idle.
I haven't heard a standard ECU T2 for a long time and i saw/heard one last weekend, man it sound heanous. like add another 10 degrees advance to it at idle and it'll start to run better hahha
ahhh the joys of aftermarket efi systems
