Leaving the FPD in place ?

I have a street ported 13b-re T04-R in my fc and I am upgrading my fuel system. I want to keep the stock primary fuel rail but the fuel pulsation damper is part of the rail. Can I leave it in place or do I absolutely have to remove it and tap the rail ? Would I get a better-constant flow if removed ?

I am not planning to run more than 14-15 psi.

I have the classic fuel setup:

- Supra fuel pump
- Stock 55cc primaries
- Bosh 1600cc secondaries
- KG secondary fuel rail
- SX fuel pressure regulator

Thanks !

removing the fpd actually makes the fuel pressure more unstable, i recommend leaving it in

to be clear you have an s5 rail. the s4 is removable, but i think you probably know what you have judging by what you said.

if you really want to remove it, youd likely be better off buying an aftermarket rail or an S4 rail and a banjo bolt.

as far as fuel is concerned, you are likely going to get more stable FP with it. if i were really concerned about this, id find an aftermarket rail that relocated the FPD to where it was more easily accessible just for convenience.

It's a Cosmo 13B primary rail.

I was told that aftermarket fpr and many oem fpr do both, dampen and regulate. If I'm wrong and you really want the positive effects of the fps, you can get aftermarket ones
