Question Intercooler before or after the rad?

Hey, Im making a shroud for my rad and intercooler that will direct the air through both and then out a vent in the hood.
What Im wondering aboot is whether it matters or not if the intercooler is before or after the radiator?

Before: cooler air flowing through intercooler...

After: a LOT easier to mount and plumb...

Anyone done this or have an opinion on which would be better?

PS- car will mostly be street driven with occational track days

Thanks

After! If you are a road racer, front mounts can restrict air flow to the radiator.

I think that is why the FD guys that road race run stock location intercoolers.

How many sections are you posting this in?~!

If you do it after, all it will get is hot air through its vanes which won't cool the hot intake air running through its tubes.

Yeah, if the same air is going through both cores, the IC has to be first or you won't get much intercooling.

Yep, I would hate it to get too cold. An icycle popping loose and going into the intake would bust an apex seal to ****. You really hate to see that happen
