I want to P-port. Any tips?
I bought a worn out 13B housing off of ebay for a peripherial port experiment. $5.50 by the way
I basically know how to do it, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any step-by-step guides out there to doing it. Or just has some tips and advice for doing it.

What for? It's a junk housing. It's just something to experiment with, so that way if/when you screw it up you won't have to worry about ruining a good part.
I've actually been doing the same thing, with the trashed rotor housing from the 12A. I have nothing to add in the way of assistance to this topic except that it's best if you start with a set of known values (intake opening and closing in degrees) and mark the housing off at the opening and closing points, so you get an idea as to where the new hole has to be.
I didn't do that. Fortunately I was close to where I eventually decided I wanted to be. And hey, it's a junk housing, so what.

I just realized... that's a pre-86 rotor housing (the water O-ring grooves are in the rotor housing, not the side housing like later engines) which means that it's rather different than the later model stuff.

Look at that housing a little closer, isn't that a diffuser in the exhaust port? Those never came in the 4 port 13b's, or at least none that i have seen, and also why would it change since its an older housing? should still be the same.

Very strange. AFAIK GSL-SE's (which also had water seals in the rotor housings) did not have diffusers either.
But that clearly is an '85-earlier rotor housing, and it clearly has a diffuser.
What the hell IS that thing???
edit: The only thing I can reckon is that that is in fact an '86-92 6-port housing and the "grooves" that we are seeing are just the telltale marks from where the O-rings used to seat.

Ya i aggree, thats what it has to be. Any ways what are you guys planning on using for your angle, location on the housing and how large OD and ID? Just curious to see what you guys are planning.

Well i never heard a response to my questions that i posted up above. Whats the deals ? You guys do unerstand that those are what realy affect how it all works. Its ntot very challenging to actualy cut and sleeve the housings, the hard part are figuring out a good set of angles etc. that WORK.
