Question How to break 10-11s?

I have a mostly stock 93 r1, I just have a intake and a crappy hks exhaust so far (both came on the car) What do I need to break into 10 or 11s?

It depends on what route you want to go. If oyu want to go single then you will need a) Money and b) time. If you keep the twins then you will have to go with almost every bolt on available to break 10's. Outside of the basics such as Intake, Exhaust, DP, MP, ECU, Fuel Pump, Clutch, Boost Control, Ignition mods, Injectors, Flywheel, Pulleys, and Intercooler. You may have to switch out your gearing and differential to a more radical setup. 4:30 gears, LSD, and Streetporting may also help increase the effectiveness of some mods to up the hp. A good launch is critical as well as experience as a driver. Sinlge will bee easier and faster but will cost more. As far as Single setups go, I am no help because I don't know nearly enough to even point you in the right direction.

I seen that 500hp single setup for 6k @ rx7store. I was gona get somthing like that and go ahead and do the upgraded clutch and lightented flywheel, I have 18inch 275 wides in the rear. I figured that will help some. If I did the 500hp single setup with a 75shot of nos, how much would the 75shot help?

75 shot? That would help you destroy your motor sooner. The 500hp package gets you the power parts but if you can't put them to the ground then what's the point? 275's will help your contact patch but 18's weigh more and require lower profile tires to accomadate larger wheels so you will hook up worse because small, stiff sidewalls don't squat and give like the stock ones. So they spin easier. RX7.com cars only run a 50 shot I believe and they are fully built race cars so I would not recomend going any larger than that without a professional tuning because your air/fuel ratio has to be perfect to be safe. Most go with a Wet system it seems, safer I guess.

11's can be achieved with about 400hp. Most have had betwwen 340-370rwhp. I don't know about 10's I would guess 450-500hp but I don't know. I am going for 11's on stock Twins but eventually I plan to go single. First things first. My friend thinks his FC N/A will run 9's with all his mods like a Push Start button and stickers galore. I think he can do it to. HAHAHA
