high idel

high idel

i pulled off my acv and bac and the idel is realy high i try ajusting it with the screw under IC and it will not go below 3000 rpm one time i was test dri=ving it and after pushing hard on gas the idel was 7000 rpm how can i get the RPM lower.

LOL damn, 7K idle? wtf??

are you using block off plates?

i went out to the garage to take a look at the lower intake manifold where all that **** bolts on, and theres a .3" diameter bore that runs from the D shape looking hole(LIM acv/bac mounting point) into the a manifold runner(LIM -primary on the rear rotor).

there is a bolt on the top of your TB that sets the "hard idle". Think its 10mm...mabe 8mm Its a throttle stop. It sets how far the butterflys close. Find it and back it out. mabe the stock jb wld broke and the bolt vibrated down.
