Gtx Turbo

Whats the diference between the gtx turbo and the 1988 hitachi turbo
A friend of mine is selling my one and wanna know if its worth it
Question. Can you run 18psi on a gtx turbo and if not whats the max
psi that it can support with the proper a/f ratio.Also what the max hp
i will see with this turbo running the max boost with my mods.
My t2 mods are
3inch custom exhaust,hks ssqbov,tilton clutch, cold intake , walbro ,680cc secondaries,safc, blitz dual sbc,a/f gauge, hks boost gauge,egt gauge,spearco fmic

make sure you get the manifold with it cause it wont bolt up to an 88 manifold. from what i read about these turbos, i have one to but havent put it on my 88 TII yet, you can expect about 270 hp give or take a few ponies. im no expert but i have been researching.

gtx turbo has dual waste gate and an exhaust a/r of 1.0 as oppossed to .88 of the gtr turbo. also the exhaust manifold flows much better. quicker spool up.

i have heard of an extra 20 or so hp from just adding the gtx turbo/manifold.

get an aluminum f/w also it will help with quicker spool up.

You wont gain 20hp off the bat. The series 5 13BT has about 20 more HP than the series 4, but there are some other things upgraded besides the motor. The GTX turbo setup has no Twin Scroll also. And the GTX turbo doesnt have two waste gates btw. Its an upgrade from the GTR turbo but its still a "stock" turbo.
With your mods listed you will benefit from the GTX turbo though. Seems like youre maxing it out though. You have the same mods as me basically, im about to make a new manifold and get a turbo from a big diesel truck. The poor mans T4 upgrade.

What kind of turbo is that,tell me more please,what type of truck.
What numbers are you pushing with youre actual set up
