Greddy O2 sensor at RX7.com

Are these sensors any better than a stock O2 sensor that has been linearized into the wide number range? I was thinking about getting one to help tune my PFC, but didn't know if it was any more reliable as far as data gained from it than my stock O2 sensor readings.

If true wideband can let you safely tune your car to a reasonable safety level and accuracy of say 95% and the stock O2 sensor is at the other end and you can only tune with it to a level of safety and accuracy of say 60%, where does the Greddy O2 sensor land inbetween those 2 ranges?
I want to be able to tune with the Greddy unit only if its more accurate thant he stock sensor, but not TRY to tune with it like it was a true wideband.

Tim, I don't have an answer but Chris at rx7.com (Rotary Performance) has never failed me in giving the "straight story" on what's what whether he stands to sell me a cheap part or an expensive one. Give him a call.

He talked me out of the carbon fiber drive shaft, said it wasn't worth the money for the performance gain. I kinda liked that since I was ready to buy and he had a sure sale, but knew it wasn't something I needed.

I can't wait to get my carbon fiber driveshaft. they say you gain up to 1000 rpm on the red line. and takes out alot of vibration. your money could be better spent else where but this is a nice piece.

It's just a standard o2 sensor with a fancy mechanical looking gauge. I wouldn't waste my money, a standard o2 sensor will tell you just as much (just as little)... save a few more hundred and get a real wideband, or better yet rent a true wideband for a fraction of the price of the GReddy.
