CUSTOM!!

Learn the word! Feel the word! EMBRACE THE WORD!!

Once you have realised the power of the word custom, you will be better off both financially and the 'oohh aaaa' category as well because you have something NO ONE ESLE HAS!!

Have a look at that photo. See my 'air induction'? It cost $100AUD and that was only because I got a 100% custom made filter made for it! I went to Finer Filter and said I need a filter this long and this wide with an inlet this round. They made it for me in a week. I got a 4 inch diameter 90 degree bend of stainless steel from a pipe shop for $20AUD and had an exhaust shop cut it and weld it to fit in that small space.

Did it work? Yes! Did it look good? Once the pipes were polished hell yes it looked good! Did it sound good? Hell yes! The air surge through the blades on back off bounced all over the metal pipe and sounded 100% awesome!!

When it comes to fileters, the key to usable power is SURFACE AREA. I have a 12 inch long K&N filter sitting at home waiting to go onto the car, I just have to get the pipe off the turbo snout made up because I have **** ALL room in that corner of the engine bay!

K&N Filtercharger cone filter has done me good for the last three years. I built a closed off cold air box with additional plumbing, ripped out head light washer dispenser and redirected a fitted hose to mount directly on the K&N, and still holds up quite sturdy. Used aluminum sheets and tape and havent worried about since. Beats spending over a hundred bucks at Mariahsports!
