Do I need new gaskets to install my Downpipe

Just purchased an M2 3" SS Downpipe from a guy on this forum... this Downpipe is brand new and never installed but I never received the gaskets for it. I just had my motor streetported less than 10,000 miles ago with all new seals and gaskets. I am under the assumption that the downpipe gasket should and would have been changed then. If it was do I really need to order a new gasket set or will I be just fine using the fairly new ones?

I would get the new gasget. Gasgets are ment to crush once for a good seal. Your existing gasget has allready been crushed. Also, since it is a new DP it will probably seal differently than the stock pre-cat.

You could probably use the existing one, but I would'nt.

Can I just get a stock gasket or do I have to get a special one to fit the M2 3"?

Stock should work I think. I'm not sure about the M2s though.

The gasket on the turbo outlet to downpipe is like a $50 piece but can usually be reused. The downpipe to main cat/midpipe gasket should probably be replaced ($7 piece)
