Detroit Diesel Turbos????

Question Detroit Diesel Turbos????

Does anyone have any contacts with Detroit Diesel? We acquired a very large turbo from a friend that works in a shop around here... he has the replacement part number for the turbo, but we are unable to determine what it is. We have yet to pull the thing apart or measure anything, and since I'm at work, and kinda bored, I thought I would try to track down any information on it that I can find...

The detroit diesel part number is R103760. I'm told that the "R" signifies that it is rebuilt.

I'd greatly appreciate any assistance.

what is the a\r i found a turbo off a 8v91 they both look similar .. most likley it will be too big for street. and you will want to change impellers..

hehe, my roomate works for a trucking company, and we have about 5 borg warner turbos as big as my head sittin around the house..

That s300 turbo looks to be too small to me... seems like it flows similarly to a T-66... Do they have anything that puts out the same CFM, or nearly the same as a T-72?
