Congrats to Carlos Gonzalez for winning first NHRA race of the season!

Even though he won with a Red light a win is win, congrats guys.

Exerpt taken from the NHRA Sport Compact Website:

Sunday

Results for Final Round

FONTANA, Calif. - SUMMIT FastNews - Results of final, round 2 eliminations in Modified at the NHRA Summit Sport Compact Drag Racing Series, Nitto California NHRA Sport Compact Nationals Presented by Import Tuner:
W/L Driver RT ET Speed

(W) Carlos Gonzalez ('73 RX3) 0.545 33.900 52.99
(L) Paul Efantis ('97 Supra) 0.329 8.416 165.21

Efantis did a huge burnout, then left too early. Gonzalez's RX3 made a hard right hook towards the wall, and he wisely lifted. The drive back to Florida will be a sweet one for the Ocula Florida team!

His dads car has run 7.7 - 7.8 in moroso
so it has the power
just needs chassis work to keep the cars steady

Both the cars will be there. The rx7 should be ready for sub 7.70 passes, hopefully 7.50s. We need to shadder the record for pro modified! The rx3's chassis is a little out-dated for 7 second times, but all we expect is to run consistent with it and see how far it takes us. Love to see the support, thanks alot

Hey, anybody here know specifics on the car? Engine, turbo, engine management, is it running gas ... what about nitrous. What tranny and suspension setup is in the car?

I'm trying to gather some info for the magazine, and can't figure out how to contact the shop to ask them. Actually, if anybody has info on their shop and how to contact them, could you write me at ryan@rxtuner.com
