Compartimentation of oil pan

As my engine is out for a rebuild I was wondering if it would be the time to make compartiments in the oil pan.

I know it's a race thing but I know lots of street cars have benefits of this (see VW VR6 engine). Car is to be used on street and track.

Any body done this before? Who has some pictures/ recommendations of how to make the compartiments?

Thx
Neal

If you would like to spend the $$, and increase the oil capacity, make the engine stiffer, reduce oil leakeage etc, I would recomend the Groundzero/Xcessive motorsports oil pan.

You could also consider adding a baffle plate from racing beat instead of buying an entirely new oil pan.

CJ,
I have a GZ (Pineapple) oil pan for my FD and there is NO baffling in the pan. True it has a larger capacity but could still do with some internal baffling. I plan on making my own.

Not looking for extra capacity though, just to prevent oil to be slingshot from one side to theother when taking hard/long turns.

Looking inside stock FC and FD pans they have some pretty good OEM baffling/surge box already in there. For example:
