Of COURSE my camera was in my car when it happened. But they ran a 8.04 on a 75-shot, and they were going to bump up the nitrous but the staging lanes were closed for the day before they could get there. I had my camera ready when I heard about THAT... but they didn't make it up there.

I noted that the car no longer takes forever to spool up on the line, and no more cloud of black smoke/dust from the exhaust, and no more bogging on launch.

Oh BTW - It was like 35deg at the track today, think that might've helped? (Fahrenheit, folks!) No wind either...

BTW, I'm about 10 mins from Wakeman, Buschurs shop. Last time I was there, there were about 15 nice turbo DSMs and 2 of the nicest Supras Ive ever seen. A red and black MKIV. Both were very shiny and stock looks.

 

BTW - I did get it on video after all... but the time board is REALLY faint, plus I could barely see the car from all the people [milling around... I was going to put it up but today is the final test-n-tune for the year and it's nice weather again and if he shows up again (he was there the past 3 or 4 T-n-T's) maybe he'll have the wick turned up again and I'll have a 7-sec pass on tape instead!
