Bridgeport Turbo on 10psi
Main reason I want a Bridgeport is coz the sound of it
I want to do a very small bridge port on all 4 ports just next to the stock port (no big of extend ports or anything)
I got 90’ seriesv turbo
Full exhaust 3’
Air filter
Rebuild with 3mm apex seal
Turbosmart boost control no more that 10psi boost
Will its BP turbo work ok with these mods.?
Thanks

i wanna know why this thread is in like 14 different sections.
(with a bridgeport you'd probably make more power in N/A form compared to bolting the stock exhaust restrictor on it!)

why would you even bother to bridgeport it if your going to run no more than 10psi?. a nice mamoth street port and a hefty exhaust port will make your car sound like a bridge port.

So he can shift mad quik yo......
a factory ECU will not even look at a BP so unless you wanna fork out at leasy $2200NZ for a new efi system, then at least $1000 for a good sized turbo - to make 370+HP at 10PSI then just forget the idea

What you guys don't understand he loves the sound of a bridge port.. If you don't understand that then you probably have never heard one.. I considered bridgeporting my engine mostly for the sound.. but decided not to because then my current turbo would be way to small... And i would be way over the HP mark i am going for..

The problem is the sound comes with a vastly different engine.
A large street port will also idle nice and brappy, but likewise you wouldn't want to run it with the stock turbo as the turbo would be rather small.
I say bridge port it and throw the turbo away.

I wish I was driving!
People who want a BP for the sound also don't realize the VERY limited engine life that comes with the BP.
Soul just popped his motor, and he had a half bridge.

engine life will depend on size of bridge-port.
you could do a half-bridge(sec's ports only) and as long as there's a small wall to support the O-ring in place the engine should last as long as any street ported engine.
