Bridgeport Project (Opinions Needed)

it has a 5mm bridge, what do you guys think?

That's perfectly thick enough. On the eybrow cut, extend its length and close its port timing at the same time the extend port closes.

but i wanted the whole "half bridge" thing, this will be used with the stock FD twins for 6months or so...don't want to choke them

A "half bridge" is when you bridge the secondary ports, and just street port the primaries.

Street port everything, and only bridgeport the secondaries

Yeah 5mm is plenty, very reliable for a bridgeported engine. Be sure to make the bottom of the bridge angled and rounded nice.

Actually I meant the turbos will choke the motor.

we'll make modifications as necessary to the turbos, my predictions will be 380rwhp@14psi, anything beyond that will choke

but oh well, time for a single

Half bridge is when , HALF the number of ports (2 on a four port motor ) are bridged , you can also have a halfbridge if you only port the primary ports !.

I've done my own on both the older soft iorn and the new harder ones, the new ones take a lot of time, so much I'm not realy will to do it agen, just hand fileing the radesis in side that brige is a killer, high level a skill and patunt (spelling sucks). I would get a older one and just peractis frist. So any how for my self I likem big primary & seconderies and it idles at 3k and from there up it is most smoth and it is twin turbo, K injected

Could you essentially "sleep" an Rx-7 by keeping stock primaries and race porting and bridging the secondaries? This would have relatively good lowend and badass topend.

How would one start the bridgeport? Drill a bunch of holes in a line and connect them together with a dremel/ die grinder?

that's what a half bridge is, only the secondaries are bridge'd, the primaries are just street ported and cleaned up

and yes, you drill holes and connect them for the bridge, although there a lots of techniques, this is the easiest
