What's the website with the Supra air filter test?

I know this has been discussed a million times, but it's a great source of info.
I tried about 50 different searches and can't find it.

It's the one where they test a bunch of different air filters on the same Supra. The results show that they all make the same power, but some filter better than others.

Anyone?

I'm not sure of the link, but the test was in MaxPower magazine. Basicly they said the Apexi was best, followed closely by the Blitz SUS. The HKS was horrible. The test used a shop vac, not a Supra, and was, to say the least not particularly scientific. The results however wer pretty convincing. Carl

I was sure there was one done on a Supra. They can't get RWHP dyno numbers from a shop vac, and I remember the test results all showed a power increase of between 13-14 rwhp no matter what filter you used.

Alright, so I'm not too sure about this article now.

They were tested on a vacuum, which in my opinion is a pretty good idea to get a good idea to which intake filters the air the cleanest. Who knows if they did it very accurately (maybe on some filters, ie: apexi they held the filter further away from the dirt particles than on the HKS).

But how do they get the HP gains? Did they test each intake one at a time, doing dyno runs, on the same car? It doesn't mention this, and you can't get dyno numbers from a vacuum cleaner...

And if it's sponsered by Apex'i, then that basically alone makes me disregard the test. It's got to be done by an independent and unbiased sourse to convince me.

So in conclusion...
I am no further ahead on which filter is best than before I read the article.

That's also my conclusion. I think it's wonderful that some teenagers took the initiative to make a wonderful infomercial, but their methods are not scientific, nor is their testing in accordance with the SAE J726 standard.
