Aquamist 2d Install

I attached some pictures of the 2d install.

I am using the .9mm water jet at this time.

We set it up to inject water starting at 5 psi.

As you can see by the pictures everything needs to be cleaned up and made look nicer. This was right after we got done.

Steve Kan missed his flight out of Dallas. He had to scramble around for another flight and he was 7 hours late. We arrived at my brother's home for the install and we started at 10:00pm. We were done at 2:00am. Steve did a fine job considering he never saw the kit before or installed water injection on anything.

The next day did some more work on Damian's car and I lead them to the dyno site for tuning on Damian's car. In the drive to the dyno I was leading them to, I was cruising along and my intake air temps as measured by the PFC Commander was 51C. Damian passed me for fun, I guess, and I had to kick it in to catch up. I boosted to about 10psi and the air temps dropped to 30C, so water was working.

Here again thanks to all involved.

Ken Francis

Stuff, hood scoop is a maybe future project.

Put it on in reverse and cut 4 big holes in hood to suck hot air out of engine bay while moving and let it out when at stop sign.

I thought you've had WI for a long time Ken? BTW, are you injecting in the hot side of your IC endtank?

Just after the SMIC. I had the 2s kit installed. KDR was not able to program it due to their dyno breaking and I could not figure it out so I went the simple route of the 2d kit which needs no programming. Just set the boost to kick in and pick the right size water injector.

Water pump is on the left in front of the K&N filter, plastic water tube goes over K&N, over the electric IC fan and injects water into the pipe right after the exit of the IC. The brass fitting farther up is an air temp probe just before the GReddy elbow.
