first of all the down pipe comes before the cat-back!!
I have the gt spec, and I love it. If you want flames in the future, then get the gt spec. Its loud with out the silencer, but with it its quiet.

The piping is 2.5" into the presilenser, flared to 3", flared to 3.75". You won't find anything larger sold to fit in the stock location.

It's got about 500 miles on it, and I'm asking $510.00

PM me if you're interested.

What the hell is that?

My GT Spec doesn't have that other muffler/resonator.
And my piping is closer to 3.25 inches.

That's identical to my GT Spec that I bought from RX-7 Store for $600!

i to have a gt spec and it looks nothing like the picture above. look on apex's website it doesn't look like that. i also got my exhaust for less than $500 dollars brand new and if you have the money the hks flows a little bit better and is a full exhaust to the dp.

Thanks for finally clearing things up. I was waiting to see if any of them realized there was an RX-7 before 1993.

Thank you .

Thank you .

The dimesions I mentioned above are correct.

Edit: If you don't want it, don't buy it. I was just throwing an idea out there. I noticed he was an FC owner, which is why I posted.

I am thinking about chopping the exhaust up and making my own creation. Unfortunately "stock location" exhaust systems use 2.5" flanges in order to mate which any stock exhaust components that might be used in conjunction. The exception being the RB full turbo back.

You can get some nice 3" stainless flanges from Racing Beat.

Boost Creep

I'm still on std twins!

Will I get boost spike or creep if I fit a APEXI GT? Currently i'm running a RB.(Which is knackered)

If so, what can I do to help prevent this without porting the turbos? I dont want to spend time and money porting the stock twins as I wish to go single in the near future.

I've heard that installing restriction plates between the cat back and dp help.

I would like to hear your thoughts?

See my sig for spec!

With the PFC, you can run a midpipe, downpipe and the Apex GT and not get boost creep. If you really want to control the boost raise the values as high as you can on the PFC and hook up a Profec B to control boost. Boost will come on quicker and controlled easier.
