Apexi AVC-R Boost question

Can anyone tell me why I'm not able to get no more than 10psi on either turbo on my FD? I have the duty cycle up to 70% with no change in boost. Decided not to go any higher till I can figure this out. Just finished the install & everything is where it should be as far as I can tell re Rob Robinette's & Ciriani's site.

You have a boost leak somewhere. Turn of the AVC-R. If you don't get 7psi you have a leak somewhere.

Nope, I don't think so. I've been using the PFS PMC for a couple years now & have had ok but not consistent boost control with it, which is the reason I got the AVC-R. In any case, I usually got 12-15psi (at transition spike), so over 10 at all times, but a really uneven boost pattern, thus the AVC-R.

I do get 7psi with it off.

Thanks neevosh; Anyone else?

Display the duty cycle of the solenoid valve on the AVC-r while boosting and see if it's doing anything. If it isn't check the connection to it.

Thanks Jose, I forgot to mention that here, although I did in the 3rd gen section. Yes, the solenoid is showing values on it's monitor screen.

Did you plug the two lines that go from the solenoids to the rear of the actuators?

Yep, plugged 'em all up. Both nipples on both actuators that go to the stock solenoids, the hoses to the nipples, & the four hoses at the solenoids. Thanks, any other ideas?

I'm unsure as to what four hoses you're refering.

Anyway at the 70% duty cycle what boost did you input in the AVC-r?
