anyone regret getting a 8lb flywheel

Does anyone regret running a 8lb on the street? Mainly interested in NA but would like to hear from all who are or did run a super light flywheel on the street.

Thanks
Aaron

How is that??

I had a 9.5lb SR FW and really liked it. It makes a big difference in lower gears and generally makes the motor feel much more responsive.

Less inertia. The rpms drop a lot faster.

I have the aluminum SR Motorsports flywheel and will never go back to anything else. It's wonderful.

I have the SR Motorsports Flywheel I'm trying to sell because I'm going back to the stock flywheel.

So don't let off as much when you shift -problem solved.

I'd like to see you get behind the wheel of a fast car and try to "not let off as much between shifting"

I never had a problem matching revs with my 9.5lb flywheel at 17psi. Unless the accel/decel settings are off it shouldn't be an issue. I don't know what you consider to be fast, but remember he is asking about street driving.

I thought you asked for an answer , however you already knew the answer... I like the responsiveness of a LW flywheel as well, but if the car is losing traction I have to 'wait' between shifts and I lose boost as well.

So it sounds like I should have no problems with a 250+ HP NA motor.
